Next Sewing Day - Friday 13 September at 9.30am

The next RedBerry Sewing Day – Friday 13 September at 9.30 am will be held at our new venue St Luke's Anglican Church Hall.

This is an open  sewing day, you can bring your current project or do you have something you would like some help with, perhaps the Block of the Month Challenge, then bring it along....

The September Sewing Day will also include a Mini Workshop – an Easy Way to Join Fabric Squares.... think 2 inch squares and Stamp Collection type blocks.  If you have struggled with piecing blocks made up of small squares – this is easy and will produce a great result every time!   Here's a sample or two, to give you the idea

If you would like to try this you will need to bring:-
cutting board, rotary cutter, long ruler, black fine felt pen (eg Sharpie), sewing machine,
usual sewing kit, 20 inch square of muslin, small scissors and
64 - 2 inch or 2.5 inch squares of fabric ( when cutting these squares, line up mark on
the ruler just outside the edge of the fabric so the square in slightly less than 2 inches)
We will provide a square of light fusible interfacing for you to try.

If you need help with a project or with the Block of the Month Challenge or would just like to work on your current project, we hope you will join us.

We will provide ironing board, cutting board, tea and coffee. Cost of the day is $5.
