Next Sewing Day - Friday 11 October 2013 at 9.30am

The next RedBerry Sewing Day – Friday 11 October at 9.30 am at  St Luke's Anglican Church Hall, Princess Street, Berry.

This is an open  sewing day, you can bring your current project or if you have something you would like some help with, perhaps the Block of the Month Challenge, then bring it along....

The October Sewing Day will also include a Mini Workshop - Making a Pumpkin Bag with Terry Pearson.  Here is a photo of  the Pumpkin Bag ......

If you would like to make a Pumpkin Bag - the requirements list follows:-

1 mtr  Main Fabric
.75 mtr inside fabric
1 mtr wadding
2.2 mtr x half inch nylon rope
Safety pins
Toggle or button
Sewing machine 
Usual sewing kit

If you would like to have a quilted Pumpkin Bag (Optional)  then completing the following preparations before the meeting day will greatly speed up the process:-

1.   Cut a 75cm square from both fabrics and the wadding;

2.   Place these three layers together and quilt  (eg a simple grid )
