Last Sewing Day for 2013 !!!!!

The next RedBerry Sewing Day is on Friday 13 December at 9.30 am at  St Luke's Anglican Church Hall, Princess Street, Berry.

This is an open  sewing day, you can bring your current project or if you have something you would like some help with, perhaps the Block of the Month Challenge, then bring it along....

The December Sewing Day will include some easy ideas for Christmas projects and  Mary will demonstrate her beautiful Christmas baubles

There will also be a demonstration of how to make fabric flowers .....

If you would like to try one or both of these projects,  here's what you need to bring:-

Christmas baubles...

Cheap baubles   - try the discount shops or perhaps you have some old ones needing a revamp!  (I have some available if you just want to try one as a sample)
Very small scraps of thin fabric  eg Liberty lawn or similar 
Plastic yogurt tub or similar for glue
Craft glue  (if you have it- we will have some available)
Plastic container to take home wet baubles  eg ice cream container

Fabric Flowers

5 x 5 inch squares of fabric for the flower petals -  for each flower
fat quarter of green fabric for stems
pen, scissors, needle and thread
fabric/craft glue  (if you have it - we will have some available)
cheap paint brush (for glue)
Florist wire (if you have it -  we will have some available)
