Next Sewing Day - February 14 - All About Stars
The next RedBerry Sewing Day is on Friday 14 February at 9.30 am at St Luke's Anglican Church Hall, Princess Street, Berry.
This is an open sewing day, you can bring your current project or if you have something you would like some help with, perhaps the Block of the Month Challenge, then bring it along....
In addition, you might like to help with a Community Quilt or get involved in making a Group Quilt for the SCCQGuild Show in September. If so bring your sewing kit with you. We will bring irons and ironing boards and a cutting mat and provide morning tea.
The February Sewing day will include a mini workshop "All About Stars" - featuring lots of ways of making stars and ideas for star quilts. If you have a favourite star or an easy method for making stars bring them along. If you'd like to try out a star or two by hand or by machine then bring:-
- scrap fabrics or a handful of fat quarters,
some light some dark
- some fabric for backgrounds
- cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter
- pencil, small square ruler, if you have one
- sewing kit and/or sewing machine
Everyone is welcome. Cost for the day is $5.
We hope you will join us for a fun day ....
