Next Sewing Day - Friday 13 June at 9.30am

The next RedBerry Sewing Day is on Friday 13 at 9.30 am at  St Luke's Anglican Church Hall, Princess Street, Berry.

This is an open  sewing day, you can bring your current project or if you have something you would like some help with, perhaps the Block of the Month Challenge, then bring it along....

In addition, there will be:-

Fast Flying Geese demonstration ... for those who have not yet discovered this technique.
As you can see my initial set of 4 has multiplied into a bag!!! - Dorothy style ... very easy!!  and thanks to
Alex,  I have a very neat chart of sizes to share ... so geese of any size are easy.
If you’d like to try,  please bring ...

For each set of 4 geese:
1 x 7 1/4 square of fabric
4 x 3 7/8 squares of contrasting fabric
pencil and ruler, pins
rotary cutter and mat
Sewing kit

Work on the Group Quilt ... please bring any completed foundation squares or if
you would like to make some blocks for the quilt  please bring :-

8 Red fabric scraps  to cut pieces 4" x 8"
8 Cream fabric scraps  to cut pieces 4" x 9"
Red thread
Sewing machine
Cutting board, rotary cutter and ruler
Pins, Scissors

and make them on the day.

You are welcome to be involved in some or all of the above ....  or just enjoy the company and morning tea!

We will bring irons and ironing boards and a cutting mat and provide morning tea.
