Catherine's Brownie Recipe!

For those of you who had the opportunity to try Catherine's delicious Brownies at our June meeting ... she has very kindly shared her recipe .....


2 Cups Caster Sugar
½ Cup Cocoa
1/3 Cup Plain Flour (gluten free is okay)
1 Cup Nuts (I use Macadamias)
250g Chocolate, cut into chunks (I use Cadbury Melts Dark)
250g Butter
4 Eggs

Mix all dry ingredients.  Melt butter.  Add eggs and butter to dry ingredients and mix until combined.  Pour into a lined slice tin and cook at 160°C for 40-50 minutes.  It will still be soft on top when cooked.  (I cook it until the top surface has a ‘crack’ – usually around 50 min normal oven.)
